Cohosting
Share an event with partner organizations, give each its own link and a cut of what it sells, and see what every link brings in.
Cohosting lets another organization on Lahuta present your event alongside you. Each cohost gets its own link to the event. Registrations that come through that link are counted as theirs, and you can pay them a share of the money. You keep running the event: tickets, guests and messages stay with you.
Say Northside Pottery runs a Mugs & Coffee Night with Eastside Coffee Co. Eastside shares its link with its own customers, shows up as a host on the event page, and earns 15% of every registration its link brings.
Invite a cohost
Open the event and go to the Hosts tab.
Select Invite a host.
Enter the Email of someone at the other organization. Whoever holds the invitation link is treated as the one you asked, so use an address that organization reads.
Pick their Role and decide whether to Show on the event page, which lists them as a host once they accept.
Select Send invitation.
They get an email with a link to accept. The invitation is good for a week. It shows under Invitations on the Hosts tab as pending, accepted, declined or expired. Inviting the same address again sends a new link and the old one stops working.
Roles

Set a revenue share
A cohost earns nothing until you set a share. Once they've accepted, open their row's menu on the Hosts tab, select Edit, and choose a Revenue share:

A share is paid only on registrations that arrived through that cohost's link, and you keep the rest. The money goes to the cohost's own Stripe account as each payment comes in, so they need Stripe connected before you can give them a share. See Get paid.
See how each host is doing
The table on the Hosts tab lists every cohost with their Role, Share, and the Registrations, Attendees and Revenue their link brought in. Beside each row:
- The copy button copies that cohost's link, so you can send it to them.
- Edit changes their role, share, or whether they show on the event page.
- Remove takes away their access. Registrations their link brought in still count for the event.
Let organizations apply
You can let other organizations ask to cohost instead of inviting them. Turn on Let organizations apply to cohost under Registration → Settings. The event page then shows Apply here to be a cohost.
Someone applying signs in and picks which of their organizations to apply as. Their application appears under Applications on your Hosts tab, with Approve and Decline.
Referral links
Anyone signed in to Lahuta who shares your event from its page gets a personal link, and registrations through it are credited to them. When someone's link has been used, the Hosts tab shows a Referral links table with each person's views, registrations, attendees and revenue. It's a way to spot your best word-of-mouth fans. Referral links earn no share.
Coupons for one cohost
A coupon can be limited to buyers who arrive through a cohost's link. When you create an event coupon, set Who can use it to Only through a cohost's link, or to Only through one cohost's link and pick the cohost. It's a good way to give each partner a code for their own audience. See Coupons.
What guests see
The event page shows your organization as Event Organizer under Hosted by, with each cohost who's shown on the page listed as Co-host. A visitor who arrived through a cohost's link sees that cohost as Presented with.
When you're the cohost
An event you cohost appears in your own Events list with a Co-host badge. Opening it shows the Overview and Hosts tabs, with a Cohosting badge next to the name. The Hosts tab shows your part in it:
- Your share: your role, your share, and the registrations, attendees and money through your link.
- Show on your feed: lists the event on your organization's page among your own.
- Your link: the link to share, with its views, registrations and money taken.
Tickets, the guest list, updates and the event's full numbers stay with the organization running it.
