Find your way around

What's in the dashboard sidebar, what the Overview page tells you, and how to jump anywhere with Find.

Your dashboard lives at lahuta.org/dash/northside-pottery. Everything you run on Lahuta is reachable from the sidebar on the left, and the Find search gets you to any page, contact, event or product by typing.

The top of the sidebar

Organization switcher. Your organization's name and logo, with "Switch organization" underneath. Select it to search your organizations, jump to another one, or select Create organization to start a new one.

Tabs. Three tabs sit under the switcher:

TabWhat it shows
HomeLahuta's public side: the Events, Shop and Services listings, your own Messages and Orders as a customer, and a list of your organizations.
DashYour organization's dashboard. This is where you work.
AIConnect an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT to your organization. See AI assistants.

Find. The search button at the end of the tab row opens Find. See Jump anywhere with Find.

Marketing, CRM, Commerce and Settings have an arrow. Selecting one opens that page and swaps the sidebar for that section's own menu. Select the back arrow at the top of the section menu to return to the main menu.

The Commerce menu groups its pages:

GroupPages
CatalogProducts, Services, Offers, Collections
OrdersProduct orders, Service orders
SellingCoupons, Website payments, Referrals, Store settings

The Settings menu lists Organization, Members, Notifications and API keys, then an Integrations group with Stripe, Email and Messaging.

The bottom of the sidebar

  • Express Page opens your public page. If you're an admin, an Edit page button on it takes you into the editor. See Express Page.
  • Support opens your messages, where you can write to the Lahuta team. A badge shows unread replies.
  • Your name, at the very bottom, opens a menu with Messages, Account for your own profile, Theme and Log out.

The Overview page

Overview greets you with "Welcome back" and your organization's name.

A new organization sees a Get set up checklist instead of charts. Each step links to the page where you do it, and ticks itself off when done:

  1. Create your first event, product or service
  2. Connect Stripe
  3. Add or import contacts
  4. Connect a mailbox

Once you have something listed or some contacts, the Overview fills in. From top to bottom:

  • Time range. Choose Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days or Last 12 months. It starts on Last 30 days, and every number on the page counts over it. If nothing happened in that window but something did in a longer one, a link offers to widen it.
  • Payments banner. If you sell things but haven't connected Stripe, you'll see "Connect Stripe to take payments for tickets and orders." with a Set up payments button.
  • What needs you. Chips for registrations awaiting approval, orders to fulfill, overdue or in-progress service orders, and reminders due. Each opens the list. When there's nothing, it says "Nothing is waiting on you."
  • Headline numbers. Revenue, Orders, Tickets sold and New contacts, each compared with the period before. Revenue appears once Stripe is connected or money has come in. Orders and New contacts open their lists.

Below those, cards appear as they become relevant:

The Get set up checklist stays at the bottom until Stripe and a mailbox are both connected.

Jump anywhere with Find

Press ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows, or select the search button in the sidebar. Type what you're after: "store" finds Store settings, a customer's name finds their contact, and an event or product name finds it too.

Find can also do things. Type "new" to see New contact and New group, or choose Search CRM to search only contacts and groups.

On your phone

The sidebar tucks away on small screens. A bar at the bottom holds the organization switcher, Find and a menu button that opens the full sidebar.

Change how the dashboard looks

Open the menu under your name and select Theme. Choose System, Light or Dark, and an accent colour: Neutral, Emerald, Sky, Indigo, Amber, Pink, Red, Orange, Fuchsia or Violet. Violet is the default. The theme is saved in your browser, so it only changes your own view.
